More Ports for Taller Signs: The biggest physical difference is on the right side of the board. The W3 features three black HUB12 ports (labeled 12X1, 12X2, and 12X3) instead of just two. This means it can drive an LED sign that is up to 3 panels (48 pixels) tall, whereas the W2 maxes out at 2 panels (32 pixels) tall.

Higher Loading Capacity: Because it has an extra port, its internal processor (the XR809 chip visible in the center) is capable of handling a wider and taller total resolution (typically up to 1024x48 or 1280x32 pixels for a single-color sign).

Same Programming: Just like the W2, it features an onboard Wi-Fi hotspot. You use the exact same smartphone app (LedArt) to send scrolling text, 3D animations, and timers to the sign.

Same Power Needs: It connects to the exact same 5V DC power supply via the black screw terminals at the bottom.
